Please note that there are separate waiver and enrollment forms for Undergraduate and Graduate Students. Students must fill out the correct form depending on their student status.

Simmons College is pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Blue Cross and Blue Shield to provide health insurance coverage for our students. Massachusetts State Law mandates that all students taking 9 or more credits must be covered by US-based health insurance that meets the state’s minimum coverage requirements. Your Simmons College student account will reflect a charge for the student health insurance plan, if applicable, according to your course credits. This charge is separate from the Health Center fee.

Qualified applicants are eligible to enroll in the plan and are encouraged to fill out an enrollment form. The enrollment form will confirm that you want the student health insurance, and enable the school to register you for the plan sooner than through the forced enrollment process.

If you have a comparable health insurance plan, you may waive the student coverage by clicking on the waiver form below. You will need to have your health insurance information readily available before proceeding. Upon confirmation of a properly completed waiver, the charge for medical insurance will be reversed on your student account.
