Bentley University
STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN

2014-2015 Academic Year

Please note that there have been a few changes to the benefit design for the upcoming year because this plan needs to meet the Affordable Care Act’s metallic level standards (platinum, gold, silver or bronze). The following changes were made to the 2013-2014 plan design to ensure that the 2014-2015 plan meets platinum level standards:

  • Increased the Outpatient Surgery co-pay from $50 to $150,
  • Increased the High Tech Imaging (CT/MRI/PET scans) co-pay from nothing to $100,
  • Increased the Medical Out of Pocket Maximum from $5,000 to $5,350/individual and
  • Added in a Prescription Out of Pocket Maximum of $1,000/individual.
