Introduction
Shorelight’s College Readiness Academy Boston is pleased to provide a comprehensive Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) for Summer 2026 in partnership with Blue Cross Global and University Health Plans (UHP).
This plan helps cover medical care while you are in the United States and provides access to a network of doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare services. The cost of this insurance is fully covered by the program, supporting your health and well-being during your time with us.
Eligibility
All College Readiness Academy Boston students are required to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
You will be automatically enrolled—no action is required.
Plan Highlights
The SHIP offers comprehensive medical coverage, including doctor visits, hospital care, and other health services. To learn more about your coverage:
- Select Benefit Information from the navigation menu
- Review details about what services are covered and how to use your insurance
You can also use the navigation menu to:
- Search for in-network providers (doctors and hospitals that accept your insurance)
- View your claims (bills submitted to the insurance company)
- Access your digital insurance ID card

To ensure you receive important communications from Blue Cross Global and University Health Plans, please update your U.S. mailing address. Select the Address Update link in the navigation menu and enter your current local address.
