2026-2027 Academic Year

Students who wish to enroll in the Montserrat College of Art student health insurance plan do not need to take any action and will be automatically enrolled by the College.

If you are enrolling in the SHIP, familiarize yourself with the Plan before receiving services. For specific benefit or claims questions, contact UnitedHealthcare Student Resources at 800-767-0700.

We encourage students anticipating high out-of-pocket costs to compare other insurance options to the SHIP. The Massachusetts Health Connector offers information about its online insurance marketplace, where you can compare and purchase insurance plans. You may be eligible for a Subsidized Health Plan (a low-cost or no-cost insurance program for qualifying uninsured adults).

Beginning 8/15/2026, you can create an account to print your insurance card at www.universityhealthplans.com/Montserrat or www.uhcsr.com. For assistance logging in or creating your account with UHCSR, please contact them at 800-767-0700.
