Montserrat College of Art
STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN

Enrollment Information
2023-2024 Academic Year

Students who wish to enroll in the Montserrat College of Art student health insurance plan do not need to take any action and will be automatically enrolled by the College.

Your Blue Cross Blue Shield ID card will be mailed to Student Financial Services (SFS) in mid-August. You can look up your membership information by clicking the Insurance ID Card tab located on the left-hand side of this page. You can also download the MyBlue Member app at: http://myblue.bluecrossma.com/student to access your electronic ID card. Students under the age of 18 do not have access to the MyBlue Member App.

Please note, with the rising costs of healthcare and increased utilization of the Montserrat College of Art student health plan, the following plan changes have been made to keep the insurance premium and the plan a viable option for all students.

  • The Out-of-Pocket Maximum will be $9,100
  • The High-Tech Imaging (MRI, PET/CT scan) copay will be $250

The plan design changes for 2023-2024 can have a significant impact on out-of-pocket costs. Before enrolling, we encourage students to compare all other insurance options. The Massachusetts Health Connector offers information for Massachusetts residents about the online marketplace where you can compare and purchase insurance plans. You may be eligible for a Subsidized Health Plan (a low-or-no-cost insurance program for qualifying uninsured adults).
