Emmanuel College is pleased to continue to provide health insurance coverage for our students with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Due to the rising cost of health insurance, please review the Summary of Benefits carefully as some benefits may have changed for the 2021-2022 plan year.
The Massachusetts Student Health Insurance Plan Regulation mandates that all students enrolled three-quarter time to full time participate in a qualifying student health insurance program. Students will be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan once they are actively enrolled in three-quarter full time status or 6 credits for the semester (session I and session II combined). All students who have comparable coverage and do not need to participate in the College's plan must submit an Online Waiver Form annually documenting their health insurance coverage.
If you do not submit a waiver form by the deadlines outlined below, you will automatically be enrolled in the College’s Student Health Insurance Program and you will be responsible for the cost of the health insurance premium.
Foreign insurance policies are not accepted and international students may not waive participation in the Emmanuel College Student Health Insurance Plan.

Voluntary Enrollment:
Students enrolled less than ¾ time are not eligible for the Student Health Insurance Plan.
Dependent Enrollment:
Dependents are not eligible to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
