Lafayette College
Student Health Insurance Plan
2026-2027 Academic Year
Lafayette College requires all students to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) or be covered by a health insurance plan with comparable coverage. As you prepare for the 2026-2027 academic year, please consider your health insurance options. To waive the Lafayette Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), you must submit proof of comparable health insurance coverage.
Plan Highlights
The 2026-2027 Lafayette SHIP is provided by Aetna. The plan is ACA-compliant and includes access to Aetna's national PPO network of providers. Students do not have to select a primary care physician, and referrals are not required. Details about the SHIP coverage can be found in the left-hand menu under Benefit Information.
Lafayette has partnered with University Health Plans to administer the plan and help with waiver, enrollment, and benefit-related questions. University Health Plans can be reached at 833-251-1715 or info@univhealthplans.com.
