The 2025-2026 waiver deadline has passed. If you were eligible for the SHIP and did not submit the waiver form by the deadline you were automatically enrolled in the student health insurance plan.
The Fall 2026 Waiver Form will be available in mid-June.
Students who waived the SHIP may qualify for special enrollment rights if they incur an involuntary loss of other coverage. To request an enrollment form and premium quote, contact Elliot Wasserman, Director of Operations at Barnard College at 212-854-8305, or via email at ewasserman@barnard.edu within 31 days of the loss of coverage.
Digital 1095-B tax forms will be available through the Aetna Member Portal on the Aetna Student Health website starting the last week of January, and no later than January 31st.
Students will receive an email notification at the email address on file once the form is available.
If you have not already created an account, you’ll need to select “Create Account” on the Aetna Member Portal to register before accessing your tax form.
