Bentley University is pleased to announce that for the 2019-2020 Academic Year we have teamed up with Blue Cross and Blue Shield to provide health insurance coverage for our students.

Student Health Insurance Policy Period and Premium Rate:

Annual Students
8/15/19 - 8/14/20

NEW Spring Students
1/10/20 - 8/14/20

All students enrolled at least 3/4 time are required by Massachusetts State law to enroll in the Student Health Insurance or be covered by a health insurance plan with comparable coverage. To ensure compliance with Massachusetts law, undergraduates who are registered for 9 or more credit hours, graduates who are registered for 6.75 or more credit hours, and all full-time PhD students are automatically billed for the Student Health Insurance Plans. All international students and other non-US residents at Bentley are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance and do not need to take any action. International students do not have access to the online waiver form. Please contact University Health Plans at (800) 437-6448 if you are covered by an Embassy Sponsored Program or a Massachusetts-based Employer-Sponsored Insurance Plan that is filed and approved in the United States, ACA compliant and provides emergency and non-emergency care in the Bentley area.

Please note, health insurance plans marketed solely to international students are often not filed in the U.S., have limited benefits and/or coverage periods that do not comply with the Massachusetts Student Health Plan Regulations and the Bentley University waiver requirements. ISO, PSI, Student Medicover, Tokio Marine and NYIS Insurance are examples of companies that do not meet the waiver requirements but market their plans to international students.

All domestic students enrolled at least ¾ time must annually waive or enroll in the Student Health Insurance.

Deadline to complete the Annual waiver or enrollment form:
