STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN
2026-2027 POLICY YEAR ENROLLMENT FORM

All graduate and undergraduate degree - including online-only and non-matriculating, visiting, mobility (study abroad), maintenance of status, Lang and Parsons consortium, ESL + Certificate Program, and graduate certificate programs - are required to have health insurance to ensure adequate medical insurance while pursuing their academic goals. Students must either enroll in coverage through The New School Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) or another carrier offering comparable coverage in the area where the student will be studying.

Note: If you enrolled in the SHIP for the fall 2026 semester, you will be automatically re-enrolled in the plan for the spring 2027 semester as long as you are a registered student in the spring 2027 semester. Please note that delays to your spring registration may result in delays to your spring insurance enrollment. To ensure coverage begins on time, you must be registered for the spring 2027 semester at least two weeks before the start of the spring coverage period (1/15/27).

By enrolling online you confirm your enrollment in the SHIP and understand your student financial account will be charged accordingly.

The deadline to submit the enrollment form for the 2026-2027 policy period is September 8, 2026.
