With the rising costs of healthcare and increase in utilization of the Thomas Jefferson student health insurance plan, the following plan changes have been imposed for the 2023-2024 academic year to help keep the insurance premium and the plan a viable option for students. For benefit information, please use the 2022-2023 Summary of Benefits as a guide until the 2023-2024 Summary of Benefits becomes available and note the below two plan changes for 2023-2024.

• The prescription benefit will be $15 Tier1 / 20% Tier2 / 20% Tier3
• The out-of-pocket maximum will be $6,000 in-network / $12,000 out-of-network
