Drew University requires all undergraduate students to either enroll in or waive the school-sponsored health insurance plan each academic year. Before making your decision, take a moment to review your current coverage. It is important that you consider whether your health needs have changed, if you’ll be traveling, studying abroad, or participating in an internship, and whether your plan provides nationwide access and emergency coverage.
You may waive the Drew plan if you have comparable health insurance that meets the university’s requirements. You’ll need to provide details about your coverage, and once approved, your waiver is valid for the full academic year.
Important: If you do not submit a waiver by the deadline, you will be automatically enrolled in the Drew plan and charged the premium on your student account. Please note that if you use services under the plan, even before the waiver deadline, you will be considered enrolled and responsible for the premium.
