The following changes have been made to the SHIP beginning August 20, 2024:
- Expanded gender-affirming benefits including coverage for electrolysis, voice therapy, chest binders, and facial feminization surgeries
- Access to Aetna's trained Personal Navigators when students have questions about benefits, claims, and providers for gender-affirming health care
- Addition of Aetna Dental Care coverage
- Addition of Aetna Vision Care coverage
- No deductible for neuropsychological testing services

Aetna 1095-B Tax Form
Digital 1095-B tax forms will be available through the Aetna Member Portal on the Aetna Student Health website starting the last week of January, and no later than January 31st.
Students will receive an email notification at the email address on file once the form is available.
If you have not already created an account, you’ll need to select “Create Account” on the Aetna Member Portal to register before accessing your tax form.
